I had the AKG WMS420 shipped from the UK to me here in South Africa, where I use it for my alto and soprano saxophones.
On delivery, there were some issues with the transmitter pack - a local music store identified some solder dry joints. Once fixed, the set has been working extremely well, and gives a really good tone for both saxes which is important for me.
The signal continuity is good and the range also very good.
The Band D set is one of the approved frequency ranges in SA. Make sure you get the right spec for your country.
I know Thomann have a returns policy, which I have used without any problem previously. This was just the simpler route for me in this instance. So I am now happy with the purchase and would recommend.
