I bought this book after practicing and studying John Riley's first book "The Art of Bop Drumming" and it has helped me develop even further. The book gives accurate, detailed guides and exercises to develop your technique. Everything from classic Bebop to brush work it covers an extensive range of styles and methods allowing for yourself as the drummer to involve yourself and widen your knowledge and vocabulary. The CD with play along tracks also gives for a fun time of improvising and playing along!
