Rack Mount kit, expensive but necessary
If you purchase an Allen & Heath DX16-8 or an AB16-8 and want to rack mount it you have no choice but to buy this kit.
It's expensive for what it is however there are no alternatives on the market.
Be aware that the DX unit is 3U in height however the rack mount kit is 4U in height and will leave a space at the bottom, I'm guessing that this is for ventilation.
The down side of rack mounting the unit is that all the connections are on the side of the unit, Thomann carry some Cat6 chassis sockets which you can mount on a 1U rack plate if you need the ability to unplug the unit.
Good quality and comes with the A&H logo on the front.
