The Ape Labs LightCan V2 is a powerful, battery-powered RGB LED spotlight that can be placed almost anywhere. The shape and size of a typical energy drink can, the rainproof lights are also suitable for outdoor use, thanks too to their German-made build quality: The lamps' housing is crafted from aircraft-grade aluminium, ensuring exceptional durability and robustness. Each LightCan provides a battery life of around ten hours at full brightness. The robust, tailor-made Ape Labs TourBox included in this set of twelve LightCans isn't just designed to store and transport the lamps – it's a charging station too, with space for all the equipment that make this set the complete flexible lighting package. Of course, every individual Ape Lab setup can be expanded and configured with the many modular accessories.

Manual or remote operation
The Ape Labs LightCan V2 can be placed on the floor, a table, a shelf – anywhere light is needed. They can also be mounted using the M6 thread on their base or with a range of compatible accessories. Although they're quick and easy to install, as a set of twelve – especially with the flightcase included here – they're ideal for professional use. The remote has a range of up to 50 metres, and like the app provides full control over the LightCans' colour and brightness, along with a practical four-group management function for organising multiple units across different areas. App control requires the separately available Ape Labs Connect transceiver, which enables wireless DMX operation and integration with KNX smart home systems. A selection of lighting effects and programmes is also available, along with Music Mode, where the LightCans respond to sound via their built-in microphone, creating a dynamic experience.

Easy to use in any setting
This full set of Ape Labs' second-gen LightCans will appeal primarily to DJs, restaurateurs, caterers, wedding planners, and event organisers looking to create an atmospheric ambience in commercial settings, although of course they're just as suitable for home use, whether for parties, barbecues, or as permanent decorative lighting. With the easy-to-use remote control, there's no need for technical expertise to get the most out of the LightCans; operation is simple and accessible. For professional users, extended control is available via the app when paired with the Connect interface, allowing individual lamp settings to be stored in the cloud, alongside integration with DMX consoles or DMX software for more advanced lighting control.
