Ein ideales Mundstück für Flügelhornisten mit weniger gutem Ansatz. Durch den für ein Flügelhornmundstück eher seichtem Kessel ist ein relativ leichtes Spiel auch im oberen Register möglich (spielt aber auch nicht von selber!). Die Töne sind daher auch nicht ganz so voll und weich wie bei einem Mundstück mit tiefem Kessel (beispielsweise beim Bach 7).

Laut Angabe sollte der Innendurchmesser 17.00mm betragen. Tatsächlich ist er etwas kleiner: eine 1 Cent Münze (DM: 16.25mm) schließt bündig mit dem Mundstückrand ab.
