Top Humbucker mit extremer Klarheit

Der Tonabnehmer befindet sich bei mir in einer 24.75" Gitarre mit Mahagonie Korpus.
Hier ist er wirklich ausgewogen, aber nicht langweilig. Die Höhen kommen richtig schön durch, sind aber nie zu präsent.
Auch die Bässe bleiben unter stärkerer Verzerrung zusammen. Das habe ich so bisher von Alnico 2 nicht gekannt.
Den Tonabnehmer kann man nur Empfehlen. Deshalb 5 Sterne

O Bare Knuckle jsem hodně četl, ale protože rád nechávám kytary tak, jak jsem je zakoupil, nebyla příležitost tyto snímače vyzkoušet. Nicméně situace se nabídla v momentě, kdy mi v mém starém nástroji (1986) odešel Seymour Duncan. Změna sice vynucená, ale nakonec pozitivní. Mám rád staré zvuky a Bare Knuckle mne velmi příjemně překvapil. Kytara ožila, snímač dává krásný zvuk podobný Gibsonu PAF. Ne moc žhavý, ale spousta dynamiky. Asi ne pro metal, ale rock, country, jazz, blues - tam všude bude úplně v pohodě.

Der PU ist einer Hoyer LP gelandet, in dieser waren vorher Duncans verbaut (sh4&sh1). Außerdem Habe ich eine LP mit sehr ähnlichen Parametern in der Emg's verbaut wurden.
In Vergleich zum sh4
Während der sh4 den Ton "färbt" und bearbeitet, klingt die Gitarre mit dem old guard, auch am Amp, sehr viel mehr nach ihrem akustischem Klangbild, will sagen er färbt den Ton nicht. Was gerade bei Gitarren die schon von Natur aus geil klingen ja genau das ist was man sucht. der Dynamikbereich ist nicht zwangsläufig größer als der des sh4 allerdings muss man nicht nach sweetspots suchen, egal wie man ihn anschlägt oder mit dem Volume Poti arbeitet, es klingt so gut wie man spielt!
Im Vergleich zum Emg 57
Durch das natürliche Klangbild des old guards setzt er sich im Kontext nicht ganz so sehr durch. Dafür klingt er nicht ansatzweise so harsch wie der aktive es gerne tut. Mit Drop oder Down tunigs hat der Bareknuckle keine Probleme (wer hätte es gedacht). Drop B oder standart C stellen ihn vor keine großen Herrausvoderungen und es bleibt definiert. Das anschlags verhalten ist interessant, während beim Emg das typische chugga chugga (der Einzige Grund warum sie überhaupt noch gespielt werden) kommt wenn man mutes spielt, kommen bei dem kleinen Briten ein noch differenzierterer Anschlag daher, allerdings nicht so stark darauf betont wie beim Emg.

nach diesem Test möchte ich den PU für alle Leute empfehlen die den Akustischen Ton ihrer Gitarre schätzen und Spaß am dynamischen Spiel haben.

Un super humbucker "vintage" et polyvalent.

Je l'ai acheté pour ma Gibson SG. Je n'aimais pas les Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates que j'avais en position chevalet, que je trouvais trop "mediums", un tantinet plats, et juste pas très inspirants. Pourtant, étant donné que je suis amoureux de mon micro manche, un Alnico II Pro, dont je trouve le son extrêmement séduisant, avec sa magnifique réponse dans les graves tout en douceur, j'ai voulu garder un micro Alnico II en chevalet également. Il est difficile de trouver des critiques sur ce micro Bare Knuckle, car il fait partie d'une nouvelle série de micros abordables qu'ils viennent de sortir. Ceux-ci sont toujours à montés à la main au Royaume-Uni mais contrairement à leurs autres micros, ils ne peuvent pas être personnalisés et ils ne sont proposés qu'avec quelques options classiques : noir ou zèbre, couvercle chromé ou doré, etc. Le Old Guard est leur ligne "vintage output" et j'ai trouvé le prix (similaire à DiMarzio et Seymour Duncan) intéressant, alors j'ai tenté ma chance avec ce nouveau produit. Et bien, la seule chose que je puisse dire, c'est que Bare Knuckle mérite tous les éloges qu'ils ont reçus sur les forums de musiciens. Ce micro est merveilleux, il est beaucoup plus ouvert, clair et articulé que le Seymour Duncan, beaucoup plus flatteur et attachant et bien qu'il ait un niveau de sortie vintage, il aime la distorsion et je suis sûr que je peux l'utiliser pour du metal alternatif sans aucun problème. C'est l'accord parfait pour l'Alnico II Pro et j'aime aussi la position intermédiaire. Hautement recommandé.
