Die experimelle Weiten des Arpeggiators
Als ein absoluter Fan und langjähriger Benutzer der Geräte von Bastl Instruments, erwartete ich mit Spannung die Lieferung des Kastle ARP.
Wieder einmal wurde ich durch die Kreativität der Macher überzeugt und überrascht. In dieser Kiste stecken wieder einmal ungeahnte Möglichkeiten, auf spielerische Weise elektronische Musik neu zu entdecken. Das Format und Aussehen können da leicht über die weitreichenden Möglichkeiten der Manipulation von Arpeggios hinweg täuschen. Das dieses Instrument kein Spielzeug ist wird einem schnell klar, wenn man sich auf den Sound und die Haptik einlässt. Für mich als experimenteller Musiker eine echte Berreicherung, sowohl im Studio wie auch für Live-Acts. Ein wahrer "no-brainer".

A strange magical box
can do batteries,, makes sounds, hours of fun. Sound over headphone is not very loud, there's no amplification. So best to plug it into an amplified scource. No volume control. Build quality is very good. it feels sturdy when you insert the batteris into it on the bottom. What can you do with it? turn the knobs, which feel good, patch the patches and wait what comes out. I love it. a A funny little monster with a will of it's own. Certainly worth the price paid.

Excelente mini sintetizador modular.
Bastl instruments han vuelto a crear un mini sintetizador modular compacto con unos sonidos muy especiales y melodías sorprendentes. Como el Kastl y el Drum, están construidos con diseño similar metálico y se pueden sincronizar entre ellos y con otros aparatos, consiguiendo múltiples opciones sonoras.

Great little happy accident machine
Fantastic little synth that is easy to get lost in. Quality knobs, robust build and is able to produce some fantastic sounds.
There is really no way to do it wrong, you can just plug some patch cables in and tweak the LFO and Decay knobs a bit and see what happens, the result is almost always some new catchy melody.
The I/O CV ports makes it possible to sync with other gear like pocket operators or volcas, which makes it a fun addition to some battery powered jams.
A small downside is that isn't possible to change the output volume, which can make it a bit hot for some pedals, but nothing crucial.
