I expected more.
The basic concept and idea are actually great — having a mixer as a stagebox right on stage. For smaller and less demanding events, it's a great solution.
However, in real-life use, it hasn’t performed as well as I hoped.
Personally, I find working through the app a bit confusing. Behringer could easily unify everything under one app or at least a consistent user interface.
The built-in access point is simply poor. As soon as there are a few phones or laptops around (on WiFi), the communication between the tablet and the mixer becomes unstable and keeps dropping out. For more reliable operation, using a better-quality external access point is a must.
What I really miss is the ability to connect the mixer to stageboxes via AES50 — unfortunately, that option just isn't there.
Other than that, it’s acceptable. I use it for smaller events and less demanding bands — mostly for highly mobile setups and small stages.
