I wanted a distortion pedal because mine broke so I thought I’d try a big brand and this one doesn’t suit my style of playing if you’re wanting more of a crisp metal sound where you can chug the metal zone is way better than this I would say this is more for grunge or maybe classic rock or something but not metal at all
