The Casio AP-710 BK Celviano offers composing and listening pleasure at the highest level. Developed in collaboration with Bechstein, the digital piano features the sounds of three famous grand pianos and boasts the AiR Grand Sound Source found in the more expensive Celviano Grand Hybrid series. The Casio AP-710 BK Celviano comes with lavish polyphony features that provide the foundation for a convincing sonic repertoire, while the authentic feel of the Ivory Touch keyboard provides the most harmonious of playing experiences from the very first note – an experience that pianists will savour even over longer concert performances. There are a variety of composition functions waiting to be discovered, including the Concert Play function, which allows pianists to play with an orchestral accompaniment. Full stereophonic sound is provided courtesy of six speakers, while various inputs and outputs allow the digital piano to be easily integrated into recordings and playbacks.

Three famous grand pianos included
The Casio AP-710 digital piano delivers an impressive array of sounds courtesy of the integrated multi-dimensional AiR Grand Sound Source system and 256-voice polyphony. There are 26 tones to choose from, including a trio of grand pianos: The Berlin Grand with its impressive sound profile, the Hamburg Grand with its expressive tonality and lush reverberation, and the Vienna Grand with its majestic and classical qualities. All three tones are available with damping and particularly brilliant sound. The Ivory Touch keyboard features a special coating to keep contamination out while allowing moisture in, so that the keys remain pleasantly dry and easy to grip even after long practice sessions. Two-track songs can be recorded using the built-in MIDI recorder, while the audio recorder, which is also integrated into the digital piano, can store as many 99 recordings in the form of WAV files on a USB flash drive.

Pure sonic sophistication
The Casio AP-710 BK is the go-to for excellent grand piano sounds. Advanced pianists will relish the quality of the sound emanating from the two 30W two-way speakers, and many acoustic components such as the characteristic reverberation of an upright piano and the simulated opening of a grand piano lid, can be adjusted to the required setting. A wealth of connection options built into the Casio AP-710 BK, which comprise a USB port, USB flash drive port, stereo inputs and outputs in 6.35mm format, and a MIDI input and output, ensure that professional musicians have full connectivity for new sounds and extensive recording sessions. What is more, the volume sync equalizer sees to it that the voluminous grand piano sound is not lost even at room volume by matching the sound characteristics to the overall volume. Teachers and students also have the option to connect up two headphone sets, enabling them to get down to work in a quiet home environment.

About Casio
The Japanese company Casio was founded in 1946 and initially became famous for its electronic calculators and wristwatches. Concert recording with orchestral accompaniment
With the Casio AP-710 BK, piano enthusiasts can invite an orchestra into their homes to accompany them on the piano simply by choosing a title from the 15 preinstalled concert pieces available, activating the Concert Play function, starting playback, and then playing along. Alternatively, larger orchestral selections can also be delivered via USB flash drive. The memory is first formatted in the digital piano and then the song is copied into the CP folder on the USB flash drive. Incidentally, the original tempo can be reduced all the way down to 80 percent for practising and, for a concert recording, the digital piano's LINE-out can be combined with two ambient microphones in a single mixing console. The microphones are screwed onto a tripod with a small extension rail, to provide the perfect concert-recording arrangement at home, complete with stereophonic sound experience.
