Mieux que les ProSteel classiques

Je joue depuis longtemps (très longtemps) sur des cordes acier soit les Rotosound swing Bass soit les d'Addario prosteel. Depuis quelques années je trouve que les Rotosound sont inégales en terme de qualité, a contrario la d'Addario je m'a jamais déçu, mais il manquait ce que proposait Rotosound avec le modèle Billy Sheehan, un tirant légèrement plus light sur la corde de Sol et légèrement plus élevé sur la corde de Mi. Aujourd'hui d'Addario a comblé ce manque, le tirant 43 sur la corde de sol permet des bends plus souples et le tirant 107 sur la corde de Mi permet de jouer avec le Dtuner sans perde la tension et tout en gardant le "piano sound" que j'aime sur les Prosteel et le tout à un tarif très très intéressant tenant la longévité de ces cordes. j'espère qu'ils vont garder la référence au catalogue parce que je suis plus que conquis. Aufgrund der anderen Verteilung der Stärken habe ich den Saitensatz für Drop-C# gekauft.
Die 63er D-Saite fühlt sich dafür ganz gut gut an, die G-Saite hätte eine 45er bleiben können, die 43er kommt mir im Vergleich etwas dünn vor.
Habe die beiden hohen Saiten letztendlich mit denen von einem 45-100er Set getauscht, hatte also 45-65-85-107 und 43-63-80-100, welche ich für Drop-C# und E-Standard genutzt habe und was mir durchaus besser gefällt.
Das sind aber meine eigenen komischen Vorstellungen, die Saiten passen sicher auch für einige anderen Bassisten für Drop-Tunings.
Der Sound ist auf jeden Fall brillant und hält sich auch lange so.

Ich habe mir die Pro Steels 43, 63, 85, 107 aus 2 Gründen bestellt. Ersten habe ich mir erhofft, dass durch die etwas dünneren D- und G-Saiten mir hier das Tapping besser gelingt. Und Zweitens spiele ich oft die E-Saite in Drop D Stimmung. Hier habe ich mir erhofft, dass wenn die etwas dickere E Saite auf D gestimmt ist, diese etwas satter klingt.
Leider hat das nicht so funktioniert, wie ich mir das vorgestellt hatte. Der Unterschied war kaum zu merken.
Die Saiten klingen aber durchaus gut, klassisch wie Stahlsaiten.
