Honest & neutral
Since having collected a few vintage basses, I havent found a string which lets the sound of the bass shine through as well as these. They are not too bright at the start, even after months when they are not new or bright anymore, they still sound good. Other strings sound very bad when they go dead! Easy on the fingers & frets too. Couldnt say one bad word about them.
Dont think ive ever! broken one either, i used to break rotosound ALL the time

Clear and precise
I've been using these strings for year now and still can't find anything wrong with them. They sound very crispy and have a great tone to them. The durability is very good, of course that it will depend on how often you gig and how often you clean them. I have them on both my basses, Musicman Stringray 5 and Jazz bass 75 reissue.
I did try other string brands some more expensive some cheaper than these but always found myself (quickly) coming back to Daddario EXL170. They're amazing!

Put on as replacement on Squier P-Bass , so much improvement in one go. Egal in tone, feel. Easy to change, stay in tune. Recommendable

One of the best out there
I ordered those strings a while ago, for my older Brother. I like doing the reviews after a while and trying giving a more accurate idea of the product.
He uses mainly for rehearsals and gigs with a function band and needed strings that could cover a wide range of styles,.
He has been very impressed with the strings, D'Addario strings are certainly among the best out there.
The strings were nicely sealed and packaged to preserve their quality until you receive them.
It has a lot of low-end tone, but also a good clean tone with higher frequencies. Good bite, with mids , crisp and clear
It is a good quality product and will have a good life comparing to cheaper strings.
Thomann?s price had the most competitive when I purchased those, and their service is simply great.

value for money
Nice all around stings for any style of music. Great tone but don't last as long as others. One to two month depending on how often you playing.

Love D'addario
These are great bass strings. Clear, bunchy but still keep the bass. the price is also not bad. I use them on my Sire Marcus Miller M7, with which they came in the first place.

There's a reason why these come highly recommended.
I've been buying these for years and used them on various basses, and I have to say that for the price, these strings are the best ones out there bar none. Crisp and clear sound. Quality has been great for years, not a single bum string in the bunch. These strings are one of those few cases where you get more than you bargain for.

Used them practly on all my basses troughout the years, and they have the best of all worlds. Probably the most balanced strings out there.
