Seit meinem Studium spiele ich diese Saite. Früher hieß sie Kaplan Golden Spiral Solo . Die Qualität ist gleichbleibend und der Klang frei, brillant und warm .
Heute werden viel sehr harte und starke E-Saiten gespielt . Das engt meiner Meinung nach das Instrument sehr ein in seiner klanglichen Flexibilität . Wenn die Stimme nicht zu stramm gesetzt ist entwickelt sich das Instrument mit dieser Saite . Ich habe viel ausprobiert aber komme immer wieder zurück .
