Ich hatte vorher die Eletric Traditional H Saite. Diese war mir auf C hochgestimmt zu straff. Der Klang war zufriedenstellend aber etwas dumpf. Ich habe dann die Eletric Contemp versucht. Die Saite hatte deutlich weniger Spannung und war klanglich so schlecht, das ich sie nach einer Stunde wieder runtergenommen habe und wohl nie wieder versuchen werde, Gezupft klang sie blechern und bass-los, die Stimmung schwankte mit der der Dynamik: stark angerissen deutlich höher als bei leisem Zupfen. Für das Streichen war die Saite komplett unbrauchbar, das klang nicht nach Bass sondern geschütteltem Besteckkasten.
