Doesn't stick, wasted money

Bought the pad together with a new kickdrum head. Removed the foil without touching the adhesive, gently stuck it in the right position and when I was trying apply more pressure to stick it in place firmly it already started to slide around (on a clean, new batter head). From there it took 5 hits with the pedal and the pad fell off.
