Dimarzio Tone Zone Pickup for Bridge position
I got the Tone Zone bridge pick up (along with Air Norton) to replace my ageing V8 pickup on my mahogany body Ibanez RG520. I used a local music shop to get the pick ups fitted as I was not confident about doing myself. The Tech Guy absolutely loved them as it just said my guitar just sounds "Awesome". He was very impressed.
The Tone Zone is ultra hot in my ears, it can easily get hard rock and metal tones with limited effort. In the first few hours of playing these pick ups I can get Joe Bonamassa blue licks nicely to Metallica tones readily. The bass of the pick up is very high so you might need to back some off it your amp. This is the second Tone Zone, I have in my other guitar collection and there is a clear difference compared to the likes of PAF Pro and Air Classics also made by Dimarzio. I would say this pick up is good enough for modern metal as well as classic rock.
The F spaced Dimazio pickups are for electric guitars with Floyd Rose like tremolo system. It means that the poles of magnets are aligned with the strings.
Thomann did an good job in delivery which took three days to arrive once ordered. Sort of wished I should have brought these pick ups earlier. They are immense.

This is it!
If your are looking for that deep, grinding metal tone, don't look further, because this is the solution! I have replaced the bridge pickup in one of my guitars with this rock monster and it has that perfect high gain metal sound when connected to any amp in lead channel, even the cheaper ones.

Rock Heaven
Used for the Bridge position of an Ibanez J-Custom
I have used this pickup in several guitars over the years, its my go to choice for rock.
it was the original stock pickup in the guitar but it died so i chose the same again to replace.
Dimarzio pickups are always top quality in sound and build.
i have used pickups from many other companies and Dimarzio are my favourite.

Wonderful Tone
Wonderful tone from this pickup. I have it in the bridge of my ash Ibanez and it really helps it to scream. DiMarzio make great pickups and this is no exception.

F***k yeah!!!!
Hot stuff here..... Bought it for a 2000's BC rich warlock which i had only the body.. Based on the Dimarzio Web site, the pickup was strong in bass but balanced in mids and treble. And yes that's what it does.. I own an ibanez RG270 and the stock pickups compered to the this pickup are like day and night. Conclusion... If you are a metal guy and you like 90's metal sound ... Go for it!!!!

5stars
Put it on my Vintage V100 LP and it sounds awesome.Luckily F-spaced fits
perfectly. As some sed here, Tonezone sounds too bassy or muddy on mahagony guitars, not the case here.Sounds very good and balanced.

The sound I prefer!
Di Marzio is alway a guarantee. This pick up is not really powerful but the tone is really balanced. I really like that the sound is not very opened and it is very adjustable with the tone control of your guitar. Further is not noisy, it sounds like a cream!!! I use this pick up for Heavy Metal/Rock/Hard Rock/Fusion.

walk before you can run
BEST pickups ive used period replaced ZW emg's that had an 18v mod in a jackson dinky ,totally buried them tonally and for the distortion, i will say though if your not the best with wiring up guitars its a luther job, the 5 wires can be a little confusing but the tonal possibilitys wow coil tapping phasing , one of the most versatile pickups out there

A classic, safe choice
All my Fenders have it, 3 of them got it neck and bridge, plays loud and well defined. I followed the advice of a guy, lowered the pup and raised the bolts, now it has more definition and gets less muddy. A great high gain pup
