Crispy and Clear

Very crisp and "bell-like" tones. Has relatively high output and works very well with my 2 DiMarzio injector pickups for an awesome funk sound.
Can never go wrong with DiMarzios.

Fantastic Strat Pickup

I bought this to go in the middle position of a Nashville Tele (mexi) that came with Tex Mex as standard, along with Twang King in the neck and bridge position.

I was a little worried from some reviews that it might be a bit dark sounding, but I find it very balanced. It sounds nice on it's own, but when it's in a middle position with one of the Twang Kings it really shines. It really does make my telecaster sound strat-like!

The output isn't too hot or cold - just right. It doesn't try to break up my amp quickly, but at the same time it is a very full sound.

Definitely a worthy upgrade for any mexican strat (or tele with a middle pup), and in my opinion, of American Fender sound quality.

True velvet heaven

So i bought a Harley Benton fusion 3, in HSH configuration, knowing i planned to change out pickups, but had no idea what model single coil to put in the middle position. I chose this Dimarzio, because i find the Duncan’s to sometimes be either too noisy or too thin, and wanted to give the velvet a try. The price was great, and once installed, the tone fantastic. I really enjoy the 4th position, with a single coil from the humbuckers and the Dimarzio at the same time- it sounds fantastic. Crystal cleans, and with a little dirt, everything you want in a single coil. I think it’s a great pickup, and we’re i modding another guitar with a single coil setup, I’d put another one in that guitar as well
