Je pars du principe qu'à chaque basse son jeu de cordes. J'utilise les DR depuis près de 30 ans. Hi-beam sur mes Jazz Bass actives, Lo-Rider (âme hexagonale) sur me Jazz Bass passives (particulièrement avec touche érable). J'ai monté ces Fat-Beam sur mon Ibanez 6 cordes BTB 20Th : belle dynamique des medium, brillance et longévité.
Après, chacun ses goûts...

Ich habe die Fat Beams für meinen Warwick Thumb BO 6 gekauft, der bis jetzt die original Warwick Saiten drauf hatte. Beim wechseln fiel mir direkt der große Unterschied in der Flexibilität auf. Durch den runden Kern sind die DRs deutlich flexibler. Die hohen Saiten sind glasklar und Akkorde sind definiert und einfach fett, der Bassbereich ist sehr markant ohne zu matschen. Die Dicke der Saiten und das Verhältnis zueinander gefällt mir sehr gut.

Was mir weniger gefällt ist die relativ raue Oberfläche, die sich auch durch Fast-Fret nicht "glätten" lässt. Das machten die Warwicks besser.

Bin sehr zufrieden aber noch nicht am Ende der Suche angekommen.
