I wanted a drum machine for live gigging. One which had different drum riffs, manual and auto function, was small and that attached to a mic stand so the settings for each song can be set by hand. That's not practical with a floor based drum machine, especially when you've got a guitar slung around your neck.
I also didn't need the drums to set my own riff. Just a good variety to choose from that was easy to use.
I've never had a drum machine before.
The demo video sounded good, but the reality was disappointing.
When I started experimenting with it for different songs, it soon showed that the limited drum riffs (just 12) doesn't give me the varity and flexibilty that I wanted. It needs to be digital with maybe 99 stored riffs.
I also found that there is no mic stand holder for this, even though the demo appeared to show one. Really? Wasn't that the point of this device, and no holder?
The foot pedal worked well, both on manual and auto.
So, I think I'll sell this and keep looking.
