DW Design Series Acryl Shell Set

Great drumming overall. Very good-looking shells, bearing edges are very well cut. Sound is very percussive and punchy with good lower end. Obviously not as warm sounding as maple drums. Bass drum is a cannon with a lot of punch. Overall tuning range is a bit narrower than wood drums, and it takes a bit more work to get them into the right tuning, however once they are in tune they stay there pretty solidly.
Heads are ok, but are remo crimped heads (likely ambassador). I would replace them with Evans G2/G1s, which are also less hazy and give the kit a better look.
