Amazing book for musicians returning to the recorder, or adding recorder to their repertoire. It does assume a basic knowledge of music and ability to read notes, so does not waste time on this. Each chapter introduces some new fingerings and has exercises targeted to practice those. It feels very efficient. By the end of this book you know all the basic fingerings.

Nicht überzeugend

Ich suchte eine Anfängerschule für Erwachsene. Durchdacht erscheint mir das Konzept jedoch hier nicht. Es kommt z.B. direkt am Anfang für das h ein Nebengriff hinzu, es werden direkt Bindungen verlangt, auch die direkt mit eingeführten schwierigeren Tonverbindungen bei neuen Tönen - die man sofort mit üben soll - kommen dann in den zugehörigen Spielstücken erst einmal gar nicht vor. Auch ansonsten leuchtete der didaktische Aufbau der Stücke mir nicht wirklich ein - und meiner Flötenlehrerin auch nicht wirklich. Ich habe dann nach einigen Wochen auf Bornemann: Anfang auf der Sopranblockflöte gewechselt. Damit kann man auch als Erwachsener sehr gut lernen - überspringt halt 'mal Stücke, die man nicht benötigt und auch die Liedauswahl eignet sich für alle Altersgruppen.
