Ehrlund Microphones EHR-H

Ich nutze das Mikrofon jetzt schon fast seit einem Jahr und bin davon praktisch abhängig geworden.

Das Mikrofon ist sehr empfindlich (im Vergleich zu anderen Kondensatormikrofonen aus dem Preissegment) und fängt jedes Detail ab.

Ich war am Anfang erstaunt, dass man nur mit dem einen Mikrofon quasi das ganze Drumkit aus der Entfernung aufnehmen kann (vorausgesetzt die Raumakustik stimmt) und die Aufnahme dann noch sehr gut ist. Also das Mikro passt ziemlich gut für die Open Sound Aufnahmen, da der Frequenzbereich einem Messmikrofon ähnelt. Der Spielraum erlaubt es einem an manchen Stellen (Frequenzen), falls gewünscht, hoch zu schrauben.

Unsere Sängerin (Jazz / Bossa Nova / Funk) nutzt das Mikrofon auch seit mehreren Monaten bei jedem Gig als Hauptmikrofon und ist damit sehr zufrieden.

Aber Vorsicht! Manchmal, wenn man das Mikrofon live nutzt und die Drums zu laut werden, hört man die Vocals nicht mehr so gut 😅

Das Erhlund Ehr-H ist einfach ein Beast... Sowohl live, als auch im Studio.

I've been playing live for over 40 years now, the last 15 professionally, and have coughed into just about every vocal mic there is. I have proper mic technique and a very loud voice, and since my primary Sennheiser E865 (solid middle-class) began showing some fatigue was looking for my ultimate and hopefully last mic. DPA and Neumann were default options, which an initial test confirmed. I stumbled by chance on the Ehrlund; intrigued by the technical jargon and with the insurance of the Moneyback guarantee, I decided to give it a go.
And boy, am I happy I did! This combines the best of the Neumann warmth with the DPA clarity, and my voice sounds exactly like me with a turbocharger- it cuts through complex mixes with ease. I have never been so comfortable and confident singing as with the Ehrlund, and am convinced that I have indeed found "my last mic."
Note that it is visually ähm, a bit different: the capsule housing is a bit larger than the others, and the shaft looks like something got caught about halfway through. The hand is a bit surprised, but it's actually not uncomfortable to hold.
