MIDI feedback problems

I bought the overhub as a reliable USB hub. Mainly to use controllers in Ableton and control external synths via MIDI USB.

The first problem i encountered was the connection to my macbook. The overhub comes with a USB-B cable allthough the product was made in ‘25. That means i still have to use a usb adapter to plug it into my macbook.
Secondly when i connect more than 1 MIDI controller, the overhub starts to pick up a lot of noise and generates MIDI feedback. Wich causes my ableton setup to behave strange like faders jittering, wich messes with my balance while performing, making it unusable.

I did use the overhub as a normal USB hub, after reading very good reviews online, while it is meant to be used with elektron equipment. So maybe it isnt really made to be used as a MIDI USB hub.

The build quality is great.
Another minor drawback is that it is delivered without a power suply.
