Great for 7 strings lower Bb
Personally I love Elixir strings, they are my ONE AND ONLY go to strings for guitars since a few years already. The feeling you get from the coating and the fact they last so long is just priceless.
I bought this string as I felt I needed more tension on a 7 string guitar with a 26.5" scale. Previously I had a .068 (elixir as well), which wasn't bad, but I just needed a pinch more tightness to the string.
The .074 did it perfectly, couldn't be happier, it sounds just as crisp and clear as all other Elixir sets, which is something I don't get from any other brand, and if I do, it won't last more than a couple of days.
I cannot stress enough how good these strings are!!!

Great, as expected.
Bought this for a 26.5 inch scale 7-string F# setup, works like a charm. The coating doesn't get in the way at all, and the string stays super crisp and bright for ages, also feels nice ant tight, snappy, stretches out pretty quickly and holds tune well. It's probably the only coated string that I actually like, doesn't feel extra slippery, sounds good, lasts forever. Absolutely recommended.
