Buy this if you're sweating
I've got that Alien sweat that eats itself through the ground and I'm sweating like a whore in church even with the AC running like Usain Bolt chased by Death. Usually I change strings every 2 weeks after 2-4hrs/day of playing. I've put on some Elixir strings almost 3 months ago and maybe, just maybe I'm starting to see some discoloring here and there. The sound is still that new, fresh, metallic one that we all like. I was really sceptic at first to pay this much for strings and to be honest, my bs snake oil detector goes off when I hear toothpaste/washing powder buzzwords like 'Nanoweb' or 'Optiweb'. I have to doubts any longer. If Elixir were about to start a cult on a remote island, I'd join them with my family.

Best I’ve tried so far
I don’t really play gigs and I don’t like changing strings so these are perfect for me. Absolutely no rust whatsoever not even after weeks and weeks of use. Even months despite my sweaty hands. I put these on and with minimal maintenence I have my guitar ready at all times. Smooth feel and great sound as well. If you get sticky strings and rust after a few days of use, these strings will solve yout problem

Elixirs are magical - especially if you have a lot of guitars
I love elixir strings, no string noise, great feel and they stay snappy sounding for about 18 months. I wear through strings quickly but elixirs last for ages, I find that it takes about 12 months before the goretex starts peeling and then i replace them. It's great because they sound exactly the same from new until the peeling goes. I have a lot of guitars and its nice that if i dont play a guitar for a few weeks/months, when i pick it up it still sounds fresh.

Great bright sound!
Lovely strings with a nice, bright sound
Life is good and don't take a long time to rust, I break them fairly often but I think that's more down to my guitar and playing style than the strings

Been using these for a whle now, not as bright as normal strings, they don't have the slippery cover that other elixir strings have but still hold their own for about a month of gigging or so. Very recommended.

I can use no other strings anymore
I have really sweaty hands. Any other set of strings die within 1,5 - 2 hours of playing. Elixir strings last for days.
I do recomend them for the clarity of sound, and sustainability.

Creature of habbit
When they arrived, I instantly bought a set. I've been using Elixir Nanoweb11's for almost 10 years, These are the same feeling under fingers, but they sound waaay smoother. Nanoweb can sound harsh sometimes, these don't. Ever.

Long lasting
Elixir strings keep their sound much longer than the other brands that I have tried (Ernie Ball, D'Addario and others I cannot remember). While I broke the strings of other brands, I haven't broken any strings on Elixir, neither 11s or lighter gauge.
I guess it would make sense to get Ernie Ball if you often have gigs and change the strings every time but if you mostly play at home and/or at rehearsals these are the way to go.
