I bought this kit to wire up a Gibson Les Paul when fitting some EMG active pickups. Very easy to do, installation only took a few minutes once the original wiring and pots had been removed, but it is worth spending a little time reading the detailed instructions first and follow the clear wiring diagrams.

Some people are dismissive of solderless wiring, but I find the EMG connector design to be solid and secure. I've used this guitar for several years of solid use, and never had any issues with this wiring.

the original cables were worn and the solder type (although I am very capable with a soldering iron) theses made it a breeze to install

EMG quality and efficiency...

I had an EMG set of 81 and 85 in a second hand guitar but decided to fit these into an LP style guitar. Package arrived in perfect condition with all of its parts intact and a decent set of instructions. What I really like is that the install really is very easy and straight forward and didn't take anywhere near as long as I thought.

The pots themselves are of good quality and the wires are decently made and feel like a quality product and it all fitted together perfectly. It was a bit of a squeeze to get everything into the control cavity but it just fitted.

Super idea, matched by quality components and simple instructions made it a breeze to get right first time and have everything working first time. Very impressed!
