Engl Powertap Portable

My Dunlop DC Brick ran out of slots and power when I needed to power a couple more pedals and there was a free USB in the power strip and it just bailed me out. It takes up little space, weighs nothing, and is inexpensive. It has been coping with its task for the second week without problems.

I use this to convert a standard usb 5v powerbank to 9v output to power my pedal board instead of a 9v wall wart. Works perfectly and so tiny it's easy to hide on the board

Useful little thing, makes life easier :)

Has now been in my rig for many years and worked perfectly - solving a niche problem that you might also have. Nice way to use, for example, a USB power back to power traditional guitar pedals.

Super small and well-built. I use it to power a Hotone Ampero mini using a powerbank. It works well and as a plus reduces the noise.

Ich nutze ein Cioks DC7 Netzteil unter meinem Board. Ich hatte keinen Ausgang mehr frei. Aber der DC7 hat einen USB-Ausgang. Mit dem Engl Powertap hab ich aus den 5V einfach 9V gemacht. Done. 8 statt nur 7 Pedale.

Perfect to run my effects on the couch without any additional cables :)

A really great small device to have next to my sofa, so I can plug a couple of pedals in (Usually Boss IR-2 and either Vox Silk Drive or Boss BP-1W).
It means I can plug in quickly and get some playing in without having to get my pedal board/cables/bigger power supply out and then put it away again after etc.
It works perfectly, very useful, handy and a time saver!

This thing is pretty awesome for small gigs and playing around the house and at practice place.
Using it(got a couple) with a power bank, and it powers my small pedalboard just fine. I think I got it powering 5 or six basic pedals(tuner, couple of ODs, American Sound preamp and Valeton GP5), and my small Behringer headphone amp(with a adapter thou) Every one should have at least one of the in their gigbag with a power bank for emergencies..
