Another good tube

The amp is a Jet City JCA50h with all original tubes. It was time to replace the power tubes so why not go the extra mile and replace most of the preamp tubes, since it has a noticeable hum on the overdrive channel. This Engl Select was chosen for V2 position and an Engl First Choice for V1. The hum is now much lower and the amp retains the same character with a bit more polished sound. Would buy again. Also, thank you for the immediate shipment.

I use those tubes in Laney cub super 10. I can say that the sound is more balanced in comparison with stock (Ruby) tubes. Overdrive became smoother and warmer.

I cant tell the difference in tubes but this one feels heavier and like it would survive a trip down the stairs. The pins are not as strong as other pins I've seen.

...für Engl Verstärker. Als nun auch die letzte Sovtek Röhre in meinem Fireball den Geist aufgab, habe ich mich für die Engl Originalröhren entschieden. Und siehe da: druckvoller, definierter Brett-Sound. Dank schneller Lieferung war auch die Studiosession gerettet.
