Ernie Ball are known for their quality products but, just like with every other cobalt strings, these rust pretty easily with a little bit of humidity, even if you take care of them. (wash your hands before playing, wipe your strings after done playing etc.) It’s not the brand’s fault, but I just wouldn’t recommend my fellow bass players to get any cobalt strings ever, especially if you are on a budget and want to use a pack of strings for a few months because these are also quite pricey compared to other strings. There isn’t a HUGE difference between the sound of these and regular Slinky’s. However if you are a gigging musician who changes their strings every now and then either way, that wants to try these out, go for it.

B-Saite reißt direkt

Bereits der zweite Satz, bei dem die B-Saite direkt beim Aufziehen reißt.
Von der Mensur her passt mein Bass (Warwick RB Corvette Basic 5 BLK) außerdem spiele ich seit Jahren die "normalen" Power Slinky und hatte damit noch nie im Ansatz Probleme. (nicht eine gerissen B-Saite bei über 30 Sätzen)
Wirklich Schade, der Sound ist tatsächlich exakt das was ich suche.
So lange ich defekte Ware bekomme werde ich die Saiten allerdings nicht mehr bestellen.

Légèrement plus courte que les classiques

Habituellement je suis sur les Power Slinky classique toujours en 50-135. Mais là j'ai voulu opter pour la version Cobalt, mais je n'ai pas pu l'installer car elles sont légèrement plus courtes !
Ma basse étant entre le long scale et le super long scale, cette série ne passe visiblement pas sur la mienne...
