I have a massive collection of expensive vocal mics, this is my 3rd time in 8 years I go back to this mic.
Mark my words there is no better vocal mic ever produced for LIVE use on planet earth.
Especially for loud stages !
I have used KSM 9, Neumann, SE V7, Shure 87...etc
Nothing has come even close to this.
Every band that heard this mic has got one now and they are more than satisfied !

Great Mic
I've been a fan of EV for a long time and this mic is very good indeed. If you are looking for a SM58 alternative that has more of everything then give this a try. Very good feedback levels. We play loud and there is no issue even in small rehearsal spaces it performs very well. Highly recommended.

An amazing live microphone for those looking for alternatives.
I love this microphone for live work with a full band. It's very unidirectional, so you may find your mic technique needs tightening up to make the most of it, but it is well worth the effort; it retains a light and airy top end that is pleasing through a PA while giving an insane amount of feedback rejection.
EV have really nailed it with this product, I hope they become more popular and it's been a high upgrade from the normal SM series mics for me.
