Bought it for a low tuned snare

I wanted to tune my 14x8 snare low, and tried this head on the bottom. I must say that I don't hear much difference with a 300 (that's the one I use the most).

This reso head is well made and has a nice tone for the underside of the snare. I used it on an old kit which was in a bit of disrepair. Changing out the skins made a world of difference to the sound of it.
