Bei 50% Preisaufschlag zum Preis der typischen Standard-Saiten wäre ich trotz Dankbarkeit für das Lebenswerk nie auf die Idee gekommen, dem guten Eddie den Lebensabend über den Kauf seiner Scheiben noch durch Kauf seiner Saiten zu supporten...

Habe dann im März die unglaublich geile EVH Wolfgang USA (Tip!)gekauft, welche diese Saiten werksseitig draufhat.
Hier habe ich schnell gemerkt: Diese Saiten sind wirklich unglaublich langlebig. Ich habe in den letzten 5 Monaten viel gespielt (wie immer danach mit Fast Fred die Saiten abgezogen) und nach meiner Erfahrung ist (allerspätestens) nach dieser Zeit endgültig jede Brillianz verschwunden. Nein, erstaunlicherweise bei diesen Saiten nicht. Die klingen fast wie am ersten Tag,

Der Klang generell ist sehr gut und haben eine hohe Brillianz. Obertöne lassen sich sehr leicht zaubern.
Nachdem ich diese Saiten nun auch auf anderen Gitarren verwende, kann ich erkennen, dass (vielleicht aufgrund besseren Schwingverhaltens?) das Sustain gegenüber anderen Saiten merklich verbessert ist.

Also: Saite sehr gut, hoher Preis relativiert sich durch Langlebigkeit.
