Un compagnon pour l'ES-9 (si vous arrivez à le faire marcher)

Sur le papier c'est génial. Comme l'ES-9.
Mais très vite on se heurte à une documentation inexistante, incomplète au mieux, et à des bouts de soft impossibles à comprendre.
Au final le truc ne sert à rien, et j'ai tout revendu, ES-9 compris. C'est trop prise de tête. Quand on fait un produit de ce genre on doit aussi avoir des exigences de qualité pour la doc et les softs. Les machines sont géniales, mais faute de la même attention sur ces aspects importants elles sont inutilisables. Très déçu donc. A Déconseiller.

Indispensable si vous possédez un ES-3

Pour le prix il faut à mon avis se dire que l'achat d'un ES-3 de la même marque entraine nécessairement l'acquisition de ce module d'expansion.
Dans mon cas le ES-5 gère toutes les clocks et les messages RUN/STOP des différents séquenceurs de mon modulaire, laissant ainsi 6 canaux disponibles sur le ES-5 pour s'attaquer à des signaux plus spécifiques (CV, audio etc...).
La gestion de cette expansion dans le logiciel SILENT WAY (indispensable pour utiliser le ES-5 me semble-t-il...) n'est pas super claire et un peu tordue à mon goût, ce qui explique les trois étoiles pour la note UTILISATION.
Cependant je suis extrêmement satisfait de la combinaison ES-3 & ES-5 qui aura été pour moi un pas de géant pour l'intégration de mon modulaire dans mon environnement DAW. Petite démo sur la vidéo que j'ai réalisé si vous souhaitez vous en convaincre : recommandé !
