I replaced (or rather my tech did) the faulty volume pot in my Telecaster & it works fine, quality seems reasonable for the price!

Great replacement

Bought it to replace the pots on an Ibanez RG560.
The potentiometer works as it should, there is no noise when turning it and it was easy to solder. One thing you should consider is that CTS pots are thicker than most stock pots and you will need new knob heads.

500K pot and capacitor
Ben7676 01.09.2014
500K pot suitable as a replacement (especially if it is a like for like replacement, in a fender) or as a component in a new build. It's advisable to use a reputable wiring diagram and to use a good quality solder to avoid any dry joints and to give you the best circuit (therefore sound) quality.

It is also important to note the capacitance of the capacitor to make sure that it follows your diagram.

I have found that these solid shaft pots work best with a grub screw type knob .

Overall the pot has a good build quality (to be expected from fender) and has a very smooth mechanical action. I'm not sure how these handle over time but I'm sure as it is a fender product it will last well.

There's nothing much to say about Fender pots. They work, they last long, they do exactly what's asked from them.
