Fender Duo-Sonic MN Desert Sand

The currently produced Mexican Duo-Sonic and Mustang guitars by Fender are generally very good. They are both quite affordable and well built. I've seen quite a lot of them and they were mostly without big quality issues, except for plastic pickguards that are often a bit shabby. But this particular Dersert Sand version with a beautiful aluminum pickguard is simply the best. I personally held two pieces in my hands and they were both impeccable. I can strongly recommend this guitar, especially to those who pferer light-weight and compact instruments. Being a very picky buyer, I cannot really find any fault with this guitar.

Update: I've replaced the stock tuners with Fender locking ones (also available here at Thomann) and the guitar is now ideal. For those who are interested, the replacement of the tuners was easy as ABC. It required no modifications to the guitar.
