Perfect fit

Straight swap on my Vintera II Mustang. No messing about with springs & trying to find the correct size & height washers & bolts to convert the original to a hard tail. Just fit this one & keep your old one intact. I never got on with the Mustang term arm so this is a perfect fix for me.

Perfekte Lösung für labbriges Tremolo - Fender Mustang [american performer]

Grüße. Ich bin Fender- Fan. Daher habe ich mir vor ca 2 Jahren eine AM Perf Mustang zugelegt. Geile Optik, geschmeidige Bespielbarkeit und macht wahnsinnig Spaß, die Hütte.
Da ich das Brett auf C spiele und nicht unbedingt Bock auf Saiten á la Hochspannungsleitung hatte, habe ich mir jetzt dieses Stoptail besorgt.
Denn in der tiefen Stimmung, mit dem werksseitig verbauten Tremolo und seinen eher labbrigen Federn, bekommt man kein vernünftiges Solo gespielt, ohne dass sich die Stimmung aller Saiten verzieht...

Der Wechsel auf das Stoptail war echt easy, 1:1 Tausch ist möglich, da Fender Originalteil.
Vom Gefühl her hat es das Stoptail echt gebracht.
Ich glaube auch, dass sich das Sustain- Verhalten verbessert hat.

Fazit: Richtige Entscheidung. Und wenn die Klampfe mal wieder auf Standard E gespielt wird und man Bock aufs Tremolo hat, dann wird easy zurückgetauscht.

Schönes Ding!

Achtung! Tremolofunktion ist damit natürlich "deaktiviert".

J'ai d'abord tenté de suivre les préconisations (voir Youtube) à l'aide de boulons ou rondelles pour bloquer le tremolo. Je n'étais pas satisfait du résultat esthétique et fonctionnel, avec cette incertitude : quelle distance entre la plaque et le "tube" ? Bidouilleur débutant, je souhaitais donc partir sur de bonnes bases. Satisfait, mais j'aurais préféré que Fender me propose à un prix moindre juste la boulonnerie nécessaire pour adapter le système existant, plutôt que de me vendre le dispositif complet habituel qui comporte l'emplacement de la tige de vibrato, donc inutile. Pour ceux qui auraient envie de courir après les rondelles et les boulons, je mesure 3mm entre la plaque de base et le"tube" :)
