I was SO wrong.

The headstock had always been what kept me from getting a telecaster. So I never even considered it as a prospect guitar to own.
Then I got my first Stratocaster, nothing to fancy on paper, a Player II I modded right away with pickups, new bridge, locking tuners, new switching configuration…
I immediately got along with the Strat that I placed my order for the Tele in the same finish. And it underwent the same modding process, so now I have and love both.

The 9.5” radius was my biggest concern since I’ve been used to play flatter necks but after a quick setup I was surprised how comfy it is anyway and as I don’t have huge hands a 42mm at the nut with this profile is velvet.
I won’t get the Jazzmaster too just because I tested it and the bridge, as far as I could feel, is just a nightmare to keep in tune. I could still turn it in a fixed bridge easily so… maybe I should complete the trifecta!

Maybe the price of this guitar is not the best but for the money you really get everything that most of the players could have asked for, ( I wish it had belly cut tho ) the sound is incredible, rosewood fingerboard is amazing and I know it might sound weird but comparing to my previous Squier Tele, this Fender has a lot more sustain and resonance, the tuning stability is very good too, I recommend this guitar to an intermediate players and new players especially, better buy a good instrument than waste money upgrading a bad one. :)
