I have been using these Fender Tremolo Bar Springs for some time now, and overall, I am not completely satisfied with them. The idea behind the product is good, and I bought them hoping to improve the usability of my Stratocaster’s tremolo arm.

In my opinion, however, the spring only partially addresses the underlying issue. The traditional Fender screw-in tremolo arm design has never been particularly convenient to install or adjust, and while the spring helps reduce some of the looseness, it introduces new compromises. With the spring installed, the tremolo arm tends to sit slightly higher than I would like, which affects the feel and positioning during playing.

I have also occasionally noticed vibration-related noises that seem to come from the spring itself. They are not always present, but when they occur they can be distracting. As a result, the overall playing experience is not significantly improved compared to using the tremolo arm without the spring.

The product does what it is designed to do, but I believe the real problem lies in the aging screw-in tremolo arm design. At this point, Fender should consider modernizing the system rather than relying on small accessories to compensate for its shortcomings.

Overall, this is not a terrible product, but it did not solve the issues I was hoping it would. For me, the improvement was limited, and the added drawbacks make it difficult to recommend enthusiastically.

it's the best option to stop your tremolo arm from wiggling around, but they're too hard,so hard i broke one 2 years ago. From back them i usually heat them untill they are cherry red so they soften a little

You need to check these springs fit your trem model. I have a Fender Strat Squire tremolo, unfortunately the springs are too small for this model trem and just fall out of the hole. If you use a piece of plumbers tape on the thread of the tremolo does a good job.
