Flamma FB200 Effect Strip

I've got it to practice at home, so plugged to an PA speaker no needs to hang around with chargers and cables. All good there, very portable and easy to move around and use.

Influencers and not trustworthy, they all said how great is the pedal, which create high expectations, but the truth is it is just a nice pedal for the price, and that's it.

The caveats: for the price, the sound quality is not very high definition, it sounds ok but it removes all the clarity from my basses and the Amp sims sound a little too processed for my taste. The compressor introduces noise (that can be removed with the Noise Gate, but it is pointless). Also I've found the software to load IRs a little outdated (but it works) and the battery didn't last the full 6 hours (around 3-4 hours in my case).

So I would only recommended it if you want it for practice, without spending too much (this is the price of any single good pedal), but don't expect high quality or using it live in a concert or recording where sound quality is important.

Ich suchte einen einfachen Preamp der im Grunde alles abdeckt für zu Hause und im Proberaum. Sogar als Backup Live traue ich dem Gerät ohne weiteres zu.

Tolle Features wie die USB C Lademöglichkeit und Akkubetrieb sind sehr stark. Bluetooth Koppelung für Backingtracks und sogar meine 250Ohm Kopfhörer sind kein Problem.

Stimmgerät, Kompressor, Chorus, Hall, diverse Amps und IRs bzw. Boxensimulation funktionieren auch prima. Das kann man alles wunderbar manuell einstellen. Und auch die App ist wirklich easy zu bedienen. Für 75€ kann man gar nicht meckern. Die allermeisten Sounds klingen in meinen Ohren sehr gut und auch der Dynamikumfang reicht mir aus. Ich haue mehr in die Saiten also zerrt es auch mehr. Das klingt für mich authentisch genug. Zum üben sowieso.

Einen Mangel sehe ich an dem Gerät aber. Und das sind die Potis. Manche gehen sehr leicht. Andere sehr schwer. Ich hoffe, dass sich sowas nicht auf Dauer negativ auswirkt. Reparierbarkeit ist aber wahrscheinlich eh unwichtig bei dem Preis. Ansonsten finde ich das Gerät mehr als wertig genug. Auch die Schalter sind eher von der besseren Sorte.

75€ nicht vergessen!

Was fehlt mir?
9V Lademöglichkeit und XLR DI Anschluss.
Perfekt wäre noch die Integration von NAM captures so wie beim Valeton GP-5 z.B.

So ist eben doch immer noch ein Kompromiss für mich. Trotzdem. Preisleistung sucht meiner Meinung nach seines gleichen.
50€ mehr und die oben genannten Features dazu wäre eine klare Ansage an alle Mitbewerber.
