Flight DUC525 SP/ZEB Concert

Overall very well constructed and naturally finished. Beautiful instrument; however, mine did come with a small imperfection beneath the G string near the bridge where the worker impressed a bit too hard onto the top; not a reason not to keep it as I will be playing it and it will collect traces of being played. Important for me: the tuners are quality too. The fretwork is also very good; my Mexican Martin tenor ukulele wasn’t this well finished fret-wise. It comes with a rear strap button and a bone nut. The gigbag is okay, nothing fancy and not much padding, but better than none and a good dust protection with a front pouch for string sets!
Overall, I can recommend this beautiful instrument! I would however suggest to invest into a new set of strings, as one never quite knows how old the ex-factory strings are! I can recommend the D’Addario EJ99SC strings! Finally, a waterproof gigbag such as the one for concert ukuleles from Rockbag is not a bad 25€ investment either.

Ich hatte mir ohne große Erwartungen diese Ukulele bestellt und mit den originalen Aquilasaiten klang sie so la la. Durch eine lange Lagerzeit können Nylonsaiten sich mit der Zeit nicht mehr gut anhören. Jetzt mit neuen Saiten (Worth Brown BM46) klingt sie toll. Bundrein, einfach zu spielen und angenehmes Sustain. Die Saitenlage ist von Werk ab schon top eingestellt (für Fingerpickung und Strumming). Einzig das Finish wäre mit seidenmatt für mich schöner gewesen. So wurde es jetzt quasi fast naturbelassen. Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert.
