I bought this as a low cost alternative to the very expensive Peli inserts or foam sets for my Pelican 1450 case. It has turned out to be quite a bargain.
It is the correct height and a good fit in length and width with a few millimetres to spare. Once loaded with equipment, it expands a little to a near perfect fit. Retaining the Peli foam lid, it does not move around in use.
There are more than enough padded dividers.
The velcro straps are a welcome addition and would be useful in an case without a close fitting lid, but they are not needed for use in my Peli - the lid foam is enough. I imagine they would come in useful if one were to use their thinner lid organizer.
Since the padded dividers take up less space than pick/pluck foam, I have reclaimed enough area for an extra lens.

Preisgünstiges und funktionales Insert! Super!

Ich verwende das Insert mit einem schon vorhandenen Case von Aldi, das ursprünglich mit Würfelschaum kam. Es passt so perfekt, dass ich nicht ausschließen kann, dass Flyht und das meinige irgendwie den gleichen ursprgl. Hersteller haben (Form der Schloss-Ösen, etc.), das ist allerdings nur eine Vermutung.
Ich finde das Insert erfüllt den Zweck 100%. Ich brauche dabei auch kein Nappa-Leder und keine TrekPak-Lösung, die 150€ kostet, sondern eine funktionale, saubere Lösung um Objektive und Kamerazubehör beim Transport zu schützen.
Das Insert selbst ist gut gepolstert, der Filz fusselt nicht, passt 100% gut in das Case und die Einteilung lässt sich frei vornehmen. Zur Haltbarkeit kann ich noch nichts sagen.
Die 3 Gummizüge zur Fixierung von Equipment brauche ich nicht, allerdings ist das ein nettes Add-On.

ideal für Kleinteile

Der Einsatz ist ideal, um Kleinteile (Fotozubehör, Konverter, ...) auch unterschiedlicher Größe zu sortieren und gut gepolstert zu transportieren. Die Fachgrößen lassen sich durch Klettverschlüsse recht flexibel anpassen, die schwarzen Gummizüge sind zum stabilisieren der Zwischenwände da.
Ist deutlich besser als Würfelschaum, der doch recht einfach auseinander reißt.
