Die Idee eines "Kunststoff-"Blattes (immer gleiche Stärke, muss nicht eingesabbert werden, etc.) gefällt mit mitlerweile an meinen Saxofonen so gut, dass ich Stammkunde bei Fibracell geworden bin. Da es dort kein Klarinettenblatt gibt, habe ich mit Forestone zu testen begonnen. Das Ergebnis: sowohl das MH und das H liefern anfangs ein brauchbares Ergebnis, wenn man den Klang in Relation zum Pflegeaufwand stellt. Nach einigen Stunden verzieht sich das Blatt jedoch (die Spitze biegt sich richtung Bahnöffnung) und das Instrument ist binnen Minuten mehr oder weniger unspielbar. Dachte an einen Produktionsfehler, tritt aber bei beiden Blättern auf.
Kann natürlich sein, dass meine Spucke oder die Atemluft einen ungeeigneten pH-Wert aufweisen oder so - ich verzichte auf weitere Untersuchungen - jedenfalls ist Forestone für mich keine Option mehr.

Das Blatt entspricht etwa einem Holzblatt von Vandoren oder Steuer in der Stärke von 2,5. Es spricht in allen Lagen gleich gut/leicht an und hat im Vergleich zu reinen Kunststoffblättern einen angenehmen, weichen Klang. Es kann, wenn gewünscht, wie ein Holzblatt bearbeitet werden, ist aber nicht nötig.
Die Klangqualität ist auch noch nach einem Jahr Spielzeit (ca. 2-3 Stunden/Tag)hervorragend.
Für das Einstellen auf einem schwarzen Mundstück bedarf es allerdings gute Augen oder einer Brille.
