Nice sound but still disappointed

It sounded a little brighter than the traditional Forestone. But the lower register was very hard to control. It always wanted (and did) jump up an octave. I like the Traditional better.

Wer kennt sie nicht, die Tage, an denen Holzblätter plötzlich viel schwerer zu spielen sind, rauschen und schlecht klingen ? An solchen Tagen nehme ich ein HINOKI. Fortgeschrittene sollten gleich bei Stärke M einsteigen, da diese Blätter nach einiger Zeit leichter werden ! Achtung : Das HINOKI H ist VIEL schwerer als das MH !!! , wobei alle anderen Stärken viel näher beieinander liegen. Es braucht ein wenig Zeit, bis man die Vorteile dieser Blätter erspüren und nutzen kann.

Zum ersten Mal habe ich ein Blatt gekauft aus einem Bambus- und Kunststoffmix. Ich bin davon sehr angetan. Es fühlt sich besser an als die Holzblätter, es ist etwas weicher und im Gegensatz zu Holz völlig geschmacklos. Ansprache sehr gut und am Sound merke ich keinen Unterschied z.B. zum Vandoren Jazz. Es entspricht der Stärke 2. Der Sound ist z.B. für Jazz gut geeignet. Zur Haltbarkeit kann ich noch nichts sagen.
Endlich ist man das lästige Befeuchten los, das ist auch ein Pluspunkt.
