Dreadful - but can be improved !
I'm a fan of Thomann, but the design and construction of this piece is frankly ridiculous ! As others have pointed out, the 5/8 female threaded ring is just lightly pressed into the plastic part, so it pulls out easily - potentially causing your beloved personal monitor to crash to the floor. There's also nowhere near enough thread.
However, alternatives are hard to come by, so for a bit of effort it can be improved. I used a 5/8-F to 1/4-M adaptor and extended this with a piece of 6mm brass tubing, reamed out to 1/4-20 and screwed tightly to the adaptor (with thread-lock). I then pressed this piece into the plastic part, packing this first with epoxy so it won't pull out.
Ridiculous to have to do this, but I think it will hold !

Mostly good and a great price for a moulded mic stand adapter for personal audio monitor
I bought 4, but 1 was faulty. The threaded brass insert that should have been fixed in the moulded plastic adapter mount was not properly secured. Therefore, as I tried to fix it to the mic stand it kept turning and was not secure at all.
I tried explaining this to the guy at Thoman but he wanted to see a video of the problem. I felt that considering I’d have go back to the lock up and drag everything out to get at them it wasn’t worth the hassle. They were only £2.59 each (not including £10 postage). So, you could say I paid a fiver each and it would have used up an hour driving to the lock up and getting them out so …….

Priblem solved.
3 minutes on my lathe and the thread breakout is cured.
Drill back the plastic in the hole, shorten the plastic flanged bush to 1/2 it's length and alls well.
