AB
Wonderfully traditional and modern guitar mixed into one.

Furch have been forging a path in acoustic guitar making that seems to have reached a very high point in the recent years.

Along with their attention to detail in their promotional material, which is very informative, Furch have a range of guitars all made with solid woods, which gives the company a huge and constantly growing understanding of how to get great sounding designs into our hands and ears.

Their use of computer and machine design, coupled with with over four decades of guitar making, has resulted in the very stable and innovative neck joint for example. This design element brings stability as well as some sustain increase and adjustments that make an acoustic fingerboard and the guitar’s action, much easier for the player, as well as in setting up the instrument to suit.

My pioneer EM replaced a Taylor 522e. I loved the Taylor but without a cutaway it was problematic when teaching clients higher hand positions. The Furch was around 1/4 the price and yet is a great replacement for the Taylor. It even came with a really excellent gig bag.

It is already developing in tone and I look forward to getting more and more beautiful tone from it as the sound develops. Even the starting point for that is very impressive.
