I was looking for something that gave me a bit more brightness than my nylon tape wounds but not quite as lively as the roundwounds. As far as sound is concerned these strings do the business. My reason for not giving a perfect 10 is this: they are a wee bit sticky under the fingers. This can be sorted out by using string lube before playing. Otherwise these are worth trying.

I compared them against many other strings I have tried. Not bad strings. They might match your taste. I went for other ones

Attention à la corde de Mi, le filet ne tient pas bien à l'âme centrale si votre mécanique d'enroulement est petite. Sur le premier jeu envoyé par Thomann, le filet n'a pas tenu du tout. En espérant que Galli corrige ce défaut.

Schon nach dem auspacken hab ich die glänzende hochwertige Optik bewundert. Durch den flat wound waren sie auch "super weich" beim Anfassen. Beim Spielen fehlt natürlich im Gegensatz zu den vorher gespielten Bronze Roundwounds der Hochton Crisp, dafür sind die Bässe und Mitten sehr satt. Aber Höhen am Amp hoch drehn dann passt es. Aktuell verstimmen sich die Saiten noch sehr, das wird sich aber ergeben, wenn sie eingegroovt sind. Alles in allem eine schöne Entdeckung für mich und ein überraschend guter Sound.
