Ich mag diesen Saiten sehr! Sie klingen auf meinem Yamaha 1025x richtig schön nach vintage P-Bass. Auch auf einem JazzBass ähnlichem Instrument (L.E.H. Offset 5) hatte ich sehr gute Ergebnisse, der verwandelte meine aktiven, modern klingenden Bass in ein Vintage Instrument!
Im Gegensatz zu Flatwounds haben diese Halfwounds meinem Emfinden nach mehr Punsh, mehr Growl.
Die Haptik der Saiten ist am Anfang etwas Gewöhnungsbedürftig, fühlt sich etwas stumpf, fast klebrig an. Man gewöhnt sich aber schnell daran.
Galli Saiten habe ich neu für mich entdeckt. Bis jetzt habe ich Nickel Synthesis, Synthesis Flats (mit Nylon Kern!) und die Halfwounds ausprobiert. Alle Saiten waren sehr gut in Qualität und Sound!

Venant de cordes flat depuis quelques années je n'ai malheureusement plus bien en mémoire la sonorité des filets ronds. Mais ma constatation est que le son est beaucoup plus métalique que mes cordes flat, plus proche d'un filet rond, mais en gardant un comfort de glisse assez agréable. Je dirai donc qu'il faut les privilégier si on aime le son des filets ronds mais souhaite améliorer le comfort, et pas trop si on veut se raprocher du son des filets plat. Dans mon cas je cherchait un intermediaire donc c'est pas trop mal mais un poil trop métalique pour l'instant (ce qui devrait réduire dans le temps).

Die Saiten gefallen mir vom Klang her gut. Eingespielten Nickel-Rounds nicht unähnlich. Die Haptik ist sehr angenehm. Punktabzug gibt es für die Verarbeitung der Ballends, die besonders dick gewickelt sind und nur schwer in manche Brücken passen dürften. Auch die blaue Umspannung löste sich direkt nach dem Aufziehen oben (am Headstock) und unten (Bridge) an vielen Stellen ab, was blöd aussieht und nicht so sein sollte.

ich hab sie auf meinen Fretless ausprobiert, leider zerkratzen sie das Griffbrett fast genauso wie Roundwounds...
