Nice compact case
It may not be up to extremely heavy duty "pro" standards, but still enough for more casual, "civilian" use.
I need occasionally to transport and/or store some of my gear. And often those are quite sensitive but heavy, mostly old-school analog pieces, so need to be handled with care anyway, so extreme sturdiness is not needed.
One of the main selling points of this Gator range for me was its intermediate size internal 360mm depth. Might seem like a small difference to say a 420mm case, but when you need to actually lift such case fitted full with front-heavy gear, the advantage of better center of gravity is instantly obvious.
So usually I take it out, dust it off, open the lids, connect, and off you go with a session.
So at least for my particular use cases it performs nicely.
The only minor complaint I would have, is the lack of odd HE sizes, like 5HE, 7HE, etc, when sometimes you either need that extra 1HE for ventilation, or the opposite, need to get as compact as possible.
But that criticism also pertains to other molded (not custom plywood) case manufacturers.

Light, simple and relatively cheap.
Light, simple and relatively cheap.
I don't want to carry 16mm plywood cases. This is good enough. And when I'm performing for 20.000 people I buy myself the plywood cases for someone else to carry.

Excellent, but check the screws!
An excellent case for normal gigging use. I only give it four for stability because it is plastic and not a full plywood flight case, however this does not mean that the case is not a perfectly valid purchase. Mine contains the Soundcraft U16 mixer and a Shure in-ear monitor transmitter, and it holds them both very well indeed. My band does not gig very often, and when it does the case is treated fairly carefully, so it is absolutely perfect, and would suit harder gigging bands too. I should point out that the description said that screws were not provided, so I bought some extra screws only to find that screws WERE provided. Not a problem for me - extra screws are always useful - but you might want to check with Thomann before buying!

Good case
Just as you would expect from Gator: a sturdy, lightweight (compared to wooden cases) case that does exactly what it is designed for. In my situation, I need to be able to move a couple of preamps close to my piano when recording, which is located in a different room from where I mix. Therefore, I wanted to put those units in a solid rack case while saving as much weight as possible. I'm very happy with this one.

As exciting as plastic boxes get
What can I say...it's a box! But on that note, a pretty impressive box. I carry a full, pretty heavy rig in here including GK 1001RB head and it holds out beautifully. The screws/fastenings-whatever you want to call them-are REALLY secure, and it's pretty easy to cart around. If a bomb was on course to land in my house, I would immediately empty this rack case and hide in it, such is my faith in its protectivity (is that a word?). Nice secure fastenings to open/close the case.
At first it seems a little odd to me that removing all the screws from one of the mounting strips means said mounting strip detaches, but that completely irrelevant as you'll be adding rack units in once a time any way. And once in, they'll never come out.

Quality You'd Expect From Gator
Purchased this to house an X-32 Rack, passive XLR splitters, a power conditioner, and an XLR patch panel for a touring band. The band wanted to downsize from a standard-depth 10U case. The case is extremely robust, and has ample space for cable management. Would purchase again in a heartbeat.

Solid case for a fair price
Perhaps the best review of that case is that it's... boring. Literally nothing happened after years of use, banging it around with heavy tube equipment inside etc. It flexes a bit in places, which made me concerned at first, but there seems to be no indication that the construction is weaker than it should be. I envision it will last me a lifetime of the gear inside and then some.

Good quality .Deep enough to mount a metric halo uln-8 (on of the biggest 1U hardware i've seen) and close it.
