I would highly recommend spending the money to get a decent throne to drum with. I spent a long time playing with the stock throne that came with my first kit and it killed my back, especially when gigging. This throne is extremely sturdy, nice and heavy, easily adjustable with the lever on the seat, and of course, it’s very comfortable to use for long periods of time

I've been using this throne for about a year and a half. I've had no problems with stability or comfort. I love the hydraulic height adjustment, it's particularly useful when teaching students of different heights.

What can I say? This has been my fave chair for years and was very happy to see that it was still available when buying my new kit. This chair is perfect if you prefer a hydralic chair! The seat is (which has been upgraded since my last one) is really nice!
