These felts are very low/thin, so don't buy these for any cymbal. These are good for special applications, such as putting a splash on top of a crash, or adding to a normal size felt to tighten down the cymbal more. They are conveniently priced and of good quality, but should be bought only for special applications.

These felts aren´t very expensive, they fit better for 8mm cymbal stands, I write this because it´s not written on this page. If you use them with a 6mm cymbal stand, they move a little bit, but if you want them to move, chose them, no problem, there is a great value for money.

With the quality I have 2 Problems, because of this just 3 stars:
1.One of the 4 is not straight up, so he sits not perfectly under or over the cymbal.
2.since these felts are made of small threads, some of them go away, while I play and this looks not great on top of my briallant cymbals.

Thickness is a half inch (1,27cm)

At the end I want to say that this product is great to avoid shippingcosts, because of his low price and because every Drummer should have it in his emergency-box.

These are great felts! I use these in conjunction with the Gibraltar 8mm Cymbal Sleeves and the Gibraltar Tall Cymbal Felts. For my ride and china, I use a tall felt underneath the cymbal and a tall felt on top. For crashes and splashes, I use a tall felt under the cymbal and a short felt on top. I find these combinations allow the right amount of movement and security for the types of cymbals.If you use only these short felts, you need 3 or 4 to ensure your cymbal doesn't wave around uncontrollably. If you use only the tall felts, you only need 2 to ensure your cymbal is stable.
